1. Caffeine, Kennedy Blvd.

The moment you step in this coffee shop you feel like you are not in Tampa anymore. The space that used to hold an artisanal burger joint, now is home to Caffeine, a medium-sized shop that serves funky coffee drinks like a Ginger latte or a Spicy Mocachino. They also have a selection of teas as well as breakfast sandwiches and lunch. For a good price you can find a hearty breakfast sandwich and a cool coffee drink to start the day off right. It is a great place to get to work also but keep in mind the music is always blasting in this hip coffee bar and always bustling with people, so if you prefer somewhere quiet to work in, you might want to consider some place else.

2. Blind Tiger Cafe, Ybor

There might not be a more bad ass place to have a cup of coffee than the Blind Tiger Cafe in Ybor city. Filled with tattoo shops and bars, Ybor city is for the brave and wicked, and this coffee shop fits right in. Looking like a place where a motorcycle gang hangs out regularly, the shop also has draft beer you can choose from. The logo even looks like a logo you would find on the back of a biker's black leather jacket. The coffee is more on the dark side, shooting more for hispanic coffee vibes. When you're done having your coffee, or beer, or both, you can head out and explore what the restaurant filled strip has to offer. From Cuban to Mexican to Greek to Italian, there is something for everyone, so go have a coffee and feel like a biker, and then hang out in one of the coolest spots in Tampa.

5. Kawha Coffee, Downtown Tampa

Last but certainly not least, we have Kahwa, also in downtown Tampa. These coffee roasters offer strong, delicious coffee right in the middle of downtown. The shop is colorful, bright and lively just like its employees. The shop has huge windows that allow a lot of sunlight to come in, giving it a cool vibe to get your work done in. Kahwa also offers breakfast sandwiches, but be quick, they usually run out pretty fast. But don't worry, they also have banana bread, cookies, and other delights that will fill your tummy up. Your spirits will be lifted up as soon as you enter the shop and when you leave, you'll be wanting to come back very soon, as the shop has the most unique collection of art hung up on its walls. The collection changes every few weeks, rotating some of the coolest artists' work for your eye balls to enjoy.
